CigarrO Launching on All Devices

We have exciting news regarding the CigarrO app. Apple has officially announced they are no longer allowing any tobacco related apps in the app store and we assume Google will follow soon with Android. When we first heard this we where a bit unsettled but quickly realized the glass is half full, not half empty.

How is this good news?

The good news is, we are currently in the process of converting the CigarrO native mobile app to a web app which will allow CigarrO to be run on any mobile device, tablet or computer…. Here’s the really good news, CigarrO will still have the same look and feel as a regular native mobile app and the same features. Additionally, by taking this step we will no longer be locked to Apple or Google’s app store terms and we will the have freedom to do what we want with the CigarrO app.

We are estimating it will 6 months to complete the conversion process and then we will start BETA testing CigarrO again.

If you haven’t signed up for the BETA you still can, enter your email on and kick back, light up a nice stick and get ready to be blown away by the new CigarrO.

I was part of the beta and was really enjoying the community and app. I’m excited to hear you have a solution and the app is not going to die.

Currently Android has no ban on tobacco related apps but we assume they will soon which we assume would apply to instant apps as well. We are going web app now so we have no problems for the future. The way we are building our web app it will be identical to a native app.
